This is the Web Site for the North Texas Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (NTACS). There are 100 chapters of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) across the world.

• The NTACS provides a vehicle from which local Fellows, Associate Fellows, Residents and medical students may more closely interact with the College to carry out the Mission of improving the care of the surgical patient.

 

• The NTACS chapter reaches out across surgical specialties for improved communication between disciplines.

 

• The NTACS promotes cooperation with civic groups, third party payers and state government agencies.

 

• The NTACS Fellows support College activities through its association with;

• The Committee on Trauma,

• The Commission on Cancer.

The annual meeting of the NTACS not only allows residents to present their data alongside nationally recognized experts, but also provides essential CME credits for practicing surgeons. Your involvement with the NTACS chapter brings you closer to the College. Your support of the chapter helps the NTACS carry out its mission.
